Instead of having spelling homework, we are asking that our students read an AR book for 20-30 minutes each night. They should use the next few days to take AR tests before the quarter ends.

Our big goals for this week are: I can use literary terms to describe the parts of a poem, story, or drama and I can describe the differences in the structure of poems, dramas, and prose. There is a chart included below that can help you help your student master the elements of each genre. Tomorrow's lesson will focus on analyzing drama. There will be an assessment on Friday.
